Some bands have a parallel life — the same act, in another version of the world, playing the song you almost remember. And some have an alternate: a photo-negative twin with its own name and its own bible, who took the opposite road on purpose. The alternates live under a sublabel of their own — Moonrise Presents.

This is why a thread on one band's page pulls you to another: the cold light of Dr. Thrillho to the scream of CL3O; the little ears of Les Petites Oreilles to the room they were sent from; a cardboard box flown to the stars, and the same box kept on a bedroom floor. Pull a thread. See where it goes.

Every band keeps more than fits on a page. In time, each one will have its own little book — an expanded narrative, deeper than the bio, with the lore and the making-of and the parts we don't tell out here. Something you can hold, and keep.

They're being written, slowly, one band at a time. The universe is still surfacing — check back, because the doors keep multiplying.
